“The ocean is imbued with mystery. Underwater and devoid of white walls the viewer is unrestrained in their interaction with the work. Buoyancy and weightlessness enable a detached and physical experience encouraging encounters that are perceptual and personal. As time passes and the works change, they reshape and redefine the underwater landscape in unpredictable ways.” (Jason deCaires Taylor)

This amazing photo shows off the sculptures cleaning service. The urchins come out at night and clean the sculptures. At one point Jason told us that he was even thinking of building them a little road between sculptures as they are not fond of the sand. He likes having free help!
